Abstract

Remedying urban environmental problems based on traditional thinking that concerned only on the supply side will not work unless there is an active role played by the demand side. There is evidence of the unsatisfactory achievement of the healthier urban environment from what have been implemented by the responsible bodies. So all urban residents irrespective of their positions should play an effective role by giving serious consideration to the appropriateness of the various activities and the environmental impact.
